Do you do all animals?

Absolutely! We proudly design portraits for all kinds of pets, from adorable rabbits to feathered friends. If it’s an animal, chances are we can create a beautiful portrait for you. Please note: we aren’t able to create portraits of people (even if you’re as cute as your pet!).

Can I have more than one pet in my portrait?

You sure can! Check out our one-pet portrait here, two-pet portraits here, and three-pet portraits here. Upload your photos today, and our team will get started right away!

Can you remove my pets collar from the photo?

Yes we can! We appreciate modern, simple designs just as much as you do. Our team will automatically remove any accessories from your pet’s photo unless you specify otherwise in the “Special instructions” box at checkout.

Do you send proofs or previews before printing my portrait?

To ensure we deliver your order as quickly as possible, we don’t offer artwork previews or proofs. Our artists will work carefully with the photo you provide to create the best possible portrait. For tips on choosing a great photo, please review our Image Guideline page.

What are the photo requirements?

We offer considerable flexibility when it comes to the images you submit. We acknowledge that each situation is unique, and there may be limitations on the availability of photos. (Our team will always reach out if there is an issue)

Here are the general guidelines for the photos:

  • Capture the image at eye level.
  • Avoid shadows and ensure the image is clear and focused.
  • The photo should include the neck and upper chest of your pet.
  • Take the picture in a well-lit room or utilize natural light.
  • Capture a front-facing image of your pet either sitting or standing, ensuring that the neck is visible.

Can I change my order after its been placed?

Yes! We’re happy to help make changes to your order if you contact us at support@barkandbrush.com.au within 30 minutes of placing it. After 30 minutes, most updates — including address changes — cannot be guaranteed. Please keep in mind that any approved changes might cause a delay in shipping.

How long will my portrait take to arrive?

We aim to ship your portrait within 2-4 business days. Here's the process:

  • Image processing: We'll process your image within 1 business day.
  • Artwork creation: Our artists will draw your pet portrait in 1-2 business days.
  • Printing, framing, packaging, and shipping: We'll handle all these steps within 1-2 business days.

(Note: Timeframes may vary during busy periods)

Do you ship worldwide?

At this stage we are shipping within Australia, however the team is working really hard on expanding worldwide.

Is the shipping really FREE?

Yes that's correct! We are big on giving back to our community and those who support Bark & Brush. Enjoy quality prints at an affordable price.

Returns

Can I return my pet portrait if I'm unhappy with it?

Due to the custom nature of these products we produce at Bark & Brush, we are unable to offer returns. Your custom artwork is designed with care and is personal to the photo you provided and your pet.

However, if your order arrived damaged or the artwork isn't quite what you were expecting, please follow these steps:

Order arrived damaged? Upload a photo of the damage on this form and we will assist you with a replacement.

Artwork didn't turn out the way you were hoping? Start by requesting a replacement with this form and our customer care team will follow up with you. We offer a personal satisfaction guarantee up to 30 days after your order is placed.

If you submit a form for damages or artwork issues, you do not need to email us - we review these requests frequently.
